A: Prospective franchisees have the option not only to develop a single store, but to develop a predetermined number of new DoRego's over a set period of time and within a specific geographic territory that we have identified.
Q: Where is DoRego's looking to expand?
A: We have identified geographic territories available across the country. Our current expansion program includes Gauteng, North West, Limpopo, KZN, Free State and Eastern Cape. We will consider franchise opportunities throughout SA, based upon initial store commitments and industry experience.
Q: Does DoRego's offer financing?
A: No, however, we do have established relationships with a number of lending institutions that currently offer financing to our franchisees.
Q: Can I invest in DoRego's Franchise with partners in order to meet the financial qualifications?
A: Yes. We will be happy to consider the combined financial statements of partners in an investor group and evaluate the group's ability to meet our financial qualifications.
Q: What is the term of license agreement?
A: Our agreement covers 10 years and carries the option to renew for an additional 10 year term.
Q: Do I purchase my food and paper goods from DoRego's?
A: Yes. Franchisees must participate and purchase from the Central Distribution Centre. This combined purchasing will see overall cost saving through our bulk purchasing power and offer significant consistency in product quality and supply.
Q: Will I receive training?
A: DoRego's offers a 60 day training course, which covers every aspect of our business systems and brand identity, and 30 days in-store training.
Q: What is the return on investment (ROI) or average sales for DoRego's stores?
A: The actual return you receive on your investment in a DoRego's franchise will depend on a number of factors, including your location, economic conditions in your market, your willingness to adhere closely to our business system and your dedication to your business, amongst other things.
Q: Do I have to follow the operating system?
A: Yes. Our guests have certain expectations of the DoRego's experience, which are defined by the quality and consistency of our service, the friendliness of our staff, the atmosphere in our store and the perceived value we provide.
