It is generally the Franchisee's responsibility to source suitable premises for the DoRego's outlet but the final approval of the site rests with the Franchisor. Shops need to be between 120 to 150 square metres in size and must have plumbing installed to the Franchisor's specifications and 3 phase power with a minimum of 150 amps per phase is required. Hot and cold water and plug points are to be allocated as per detailed plans. When looking for suitable locations, Franchisees should bear the following guidelines in mind regarding the site:
- High visibility
- The site's proximity to Public Transport
- Is the site easily accessible from a main road/s with a low speed limit
- The site in relation to major chain stores
- Favorable pedestrian passages and routes
- The proximity to office blocks and other work places such as factories, schools, etc
- Does the site possess adequate parking facilities
- New developing shopping centres
- The Franchisee is required to enter into the lease agreement with the landlord and pay the necessary deposits.
